Our PhilosophyOur clinic adopted the full service concept at the time of our founding in 1970. We believe that an integrated approach to a pet’s health and comfort is often the best way to help a pet and its owner. We have been consistently certified at the highest level by the American Animal Hospital Association. We like to use conventional high-tech diagnostics and choose our therapies from a wide range of conventional, alternative and complementary modalities. We have certifications in acupuncture, veterinary chiropractic and herbal medicine. We practice naturopathic medicine for animals. Many of the alternative and complementary methods have been tested clinically on people for hundreds of years. We have a lot of fun helping people and their pets with methods that many people are turning to for their own health care. |

Your First Visit
Please feel free to print and fill out the Animal Registration Form and bring it with you to save time when you arrive at the office. Animal Registration Form
Please bring any information you have that will aid our veterinarians in understanding your pet’s history. This includes medical records, test results, x-rays, and your notes and observations.
We want to know about your pet’s nutrition, behavior, environment , and anything you think might be helpful.
Extra time should be planned for the first visit. Our registration form (link above) can be printed and completed at home, before your visit.
We recommend that you withhold food from your pet for 12 hours before your visit, in case a blood test is needed. (No food, but water is okay.)
A fresh stool sample is also helpful, in case a test for internal parasites is warranted. (Collect the stool within three hours after your pet defecates; refrigerate it until you come in—for up to a week.)
